Born in Baham nearly two decades ago, the movement behind this gathering has evolved with resilience. Originally known as Girls for Christ, it expanded from mentoring teenagers to supporting married women, weaving intergenerational learning into its fabric. Renamed Girls for Change in 2021 to comply with legal requirements while preserving its mission, the organization has never departed from its core vision: rescuing and uplifting vulnerable girls and women so they may stand as pillars of society.
