The author, Eleanor F. Nnam, a native of Wum who grew up in Bamenda, embodies diligence and strength. From Government Primary School Ngomgham to GTHS Bamenda, and later the University of Dschang and the University of Bamenda, her academic path has been one of unwavering determination. With a Master’s in English Private Law, she has worked as a teacher, legal practitioner, and civil society leader—roles that reflect her commitment to education and positive social change.
A committed Christian, Eleanor has served in numerous ministerial roles and continues to lead with vision. Former principal of the Promise Evening High School of Science and Technology in Bamenda, she now serves as a lecturer, para-counselor, and girls’ life coach. Through her Foundation for Empowering Girls and her leadership at Eleanor’s Home and School Remedies Ltd, she devotes her life to mentoring young women, urging them to live with knowledge, integrity, and a deep sense of purpose.
